All of this durability is stuffed inside a low-profile receiver that offers advantages to the shooter, as well. The reduced height of the receiver lowers the bore line of the barrels to optimize swing andpointability, while also putting the barrels more in line with the shoulder to better control felt recoil and minimize muzzle jump for more accurate second shots. The receiver is also where the changes that highlight theCitori825 begin where new styling and engraving artwork alter both shape and appearance. Visual differences stop at the receiver, with the stock and forearm both receiving subtle new styling cues that are accentuate the aggressive new look of theCitori825.
The popular mechanical trigger from theCitori725 has been enhanced to offer even better performance and lighter pull weights than ever before. Dependability with extra light loads has also been improved.
Across the board, theInflexII recoil pad makes shooting more comfortable with the combination of a soft material and internal ribbing that forces the comb down and away from the face to reduce felt recoil. A smooth heel eliminates snagging when shouldering.
