SPRINGFIELD ARMORY M1A BUSH RIFLE

JSA FIREARMS is proud to offer an Ultra Rare, PRE-1994 Assault Weapons Ban: SPRINGFIELD ARMORY M1A BUSH RIFLE with a FACTORY CHOATE FOLDING STOCK. This rifle was manufactured in a special run during ca. March, 1994. As such, the M1A Bush Rifle is a PRE- ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN OF 1994 firearm, which is legal in several states that have a Post-Assault Weapons Ban that became effective after November 1994.

The foundation of this Springfield Armory M1A BUSH RIFLE is the famed M1A receiver, with Serial Number "079176”. One special feature is that the receiver is outfitted with the Choate Fiberglass Folding Stock- a very rare element of this Factory M1A Bush Rifle. An 18 inch barrel with a standard flash hider is affixed to the distal end of the receiver. Hence, this configuration of the folding stock and 18 inch barrel suggest that this is the predecessor of the famed Springfield Armory M1A SOCCOM rifles with the 16 inch barrels. Several original U.S.G.I. parts were were used in the fabrication of this firearm, which also differentiates it from later production M1A rifles. Many collectors of the M1A rifles consider these Pre-Ban Rifles as the best rifles that Springfield Armory every manufactured. The rifle is presented with it’s original paperwork and FACTORY SPRINGFIELD ARMORY BOX WITH THE SERIAL NUMBER MATCHING THE RIFLE. A factory 20-round magazine is also included within the box. If the rifle is purchased by a customer who lives in a magazine restricted state, then a 10-round magazine will be substituted for the 20 round magazine.
