Yes, you read that correctly. This is a rare 44 rem mag caliber Winchester model 1894. While the pistol caliber Winchesters are predominantly 1892’s this was one of the rare runs the company did on occasion. This gun is still practically new with less than 250 rounds through it and a nearly spotless blued barrel with checkered walnut furniture to boot!
It’s accurate, reliable and a dream to shoot with that silky smooth Winchester lever.
One of the beauties of this particular model being a 94 chassis is that it has no trouble cycling longer 44rem mag loads which often become jammed in the smaller action framed 1892’s and as such, this package comes complete with 100rds of HSM 305gr bear loads. They are certain to pack a punch on your choice of steel, paper or large game!
